Chance at life through sport

Context & motivation

From the court to a mission

By practicing tennis from childhood, I learned how to avoid unhealthy influences and developed the ability to recognize situations that could pull me off track. Sport gave me discipline, stability, balance, and self-confidence, and performance opened the path to becoming a coach.

All this led to founding the sports club and NGO CS Winner Brașov. Launching the club was step one. Now comes the next step: a project through which I can offer disadvantaged and institutionalized children what sport offered me.

For many children, sport can be a launchpad, an anchor, a family, a mentor, and a way out of vulnerability.
Identity

Where the name comes from

Why ā€œWINNERā€?
I chose the name back in 2007, during an uncertain period. But I had one certainty: a sincere desire to become a winner in my own life. That is how WINNER appeared—a promise to myself, a direction, resilience.
Why ā€œBrașovā€?
Life brought me to Brașov exactly when I needed stability and meaning. Our athletes carry the city name proudly everywhere—a sign of gratitude to the city that helped me find my path.
Mission & vision

Not all children start with the same chances

Through sport, we give disadvantaged or institutionalized teenagers a chance to build a future: a profession, a purpose, a community, and confidence in themselves.
